Legal Entity Information

The Energy Hunters website, EV charging services, and related services are provided by the following legal entity:

Legal nameEnergy Hunters Inc.
EIN37-2003342
CountryUnited States
Main office7531 Avenue J, Houston, TX 77012

In these Terms, “Energy Hunters,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Energy Hunters Inc. “You” means the person or organization accessing or using the Services.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using our website, starting an EV charging session at an Energy Hunters charging station, authorizing a payment, submitting an inquiry, creating or using an account, or otherwise using any of our services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

If you use the Services on behalf of a company, property owner, fleet, municipality, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. Where you and Energy Hunters have signed a separate written agreement, that agreement controls to the extent it conflicts with these Terms.

2. Our Services

Energy Hunters was founded in Houston, Texas, to make renewable energy and EV charging easy to access. Depending on how you interact with us, the Services may include:

  • public, pay-as-you-go EV charging at charging stations in the Energy Hunters network, including stations located at partner sites;
  • web-based or QR-code charging-session initiation and payment;
  • EV charging site assessment, development, installation, operation, and maintenance for site partners and property owners;
  • renewable energy development and consulting services, including solar, wind, and battery storage design, engineering, development planning, project execution, new market entry support, and training;
  • information about the book FUERZA: A Developer’s First Adventure; and
  • our website, contact and partnership inquiry forms, newsletter updates, and customer support.

Features, charger types, connector availability, and pricing may vary by station, site, and location.

3. Accounts and Authorized Use

Public charging does not require an Energy Hunters account. Where an account is offered or required, for example for partners or authorized users, you must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

You may not impersonate another person, create an account using false information, share credentials with unauthorized persons, or attempt to circumvent access controls.

4. EV Charging Sessions

Charging availability, power level, charging speed, energy delivered, connector compatibility, and session duration depend on the charging station, your vehicle, its battery condition, site electrical capacity, network connectivity, weather, and other factors. Charging speeds and range figures shown on our website or at a station are general estimates, not guarantees.

Some charging stations are located on property owned or operated by our site partners. Site partners may set site-specific rules, such as operating hours, parking time limits, parking fees, or access restrictions, and you are responsible for following them.

A charging session may fail to start, stop early, or be interrupted for safety, maintenance, communications, electrical, vehicle, or operational reasons. You must use charging equipment only as instructed at the station and by your vehicle manufacturer, confirm that your vehicle and any adapter you use are compatible, and never use equipment that appears damaged. Please report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to us promptly.

5. Pricing, Taxes and Payments

Charging is offered on a pay-as-you-go basis. The applicable price is displayed at the charging station or on the payment page before you start a session. Charges may be based on energy delivered (for example, per kWh), time, session fees, idle fees, or another disclosed pricing model.

By starting a paid session and submitting a payment method, you authorize Energy Hunters Inc. and its payment service providers to charge the amounts associated with that session. Our charging and payment platform is provided by our technology partner, and payment processing may be provided by third-party payment processors, which may include dLocal Go or other providers depending on the payment method. Payment processors may apply their own terms, authentication requirements, and fraud controls.

Your bank or card issuer may place a temporary pre-authorization hold when a session starts. The final charge reflects your actual session, and the timing for releasing any remaining hold is controlled by your financial institution.

We accept the payment methods shown at the time of payment, which may include credit cards, debit cards, and mobile wallets. Applicable taxes may be added where required by law.

6. Billing Questions, Refunds and Disputes

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us at support@energy-hunters.com within 30 days of the transaction. Include the date, time, station location, and the last four digits of the payment card used so we can identify the session.

We review each request using charging-session records and payment records. Where a session failed to deliver energy, was charged in error, or was charged more than once, we will issue an appropriate refund to the original payment method. Refunds may take several business days to appear, depending on your financial institution.

We encourage you to contact us before filing a chargeback so we can resolve the issue quickly. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

7. Site Partnerships and Consulting Services

Information on our website about site partnerships, EV charging installations, revenue opportunities, and renewable energy development or consulting services is provided for general information only. It is not an offer, and it does not create a partnership, agency, or contractual relationship.

Estimates, proposals, site assessments, and projections, including projected revenue, utilization, energy savings, or installation timelines, are not binding and are not guaranteed. Any site partnership, installation, maintenance, electricity-cost arrangement, or consulting engagement is governed solely by a separate written agreement signed by Energy Hunters and the other party.

8. Book Purchases

Our website provides information about FUERZA: A Developer’s First Adventure. Purchases made through links to Amazon or other third-party retailers are completed with that retailer and are subject to the retailer’s own terms, pricing, shipping, and return policies. Energy Hunters does not process those purchases.

9. Third-Party Equipment, Services and Links

The Services may rely on or link to third-party products and services, including charging hardware, electric utilities, telecommunications networks, charging-software and payment platforms, payment processors, cloud and email providers, video platforms, online retailers, and social media sites. Energy Hunters does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their content, policies, or failures that are outside our reasonable control. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms.

10. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Services to:

  • violate any applicable law or the rights of others;
  • tamper with, damage, disable, or interfere with charging equipment, cables, connectors, or site infrastructure;
  • block, occupy, or misuse charging spaces in violation of posted site rules;
  • gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, chargers, or data;
  • submit fraudulent payment information or initiate fraudulent transactions or chargebacks;
  • submit false, misleading, or spam inquiries through our forms;
  • introduce malware or harmful code, or scrape or overload the website; or
  • use the Services in any way that creates a safety or security risk.

11. Service Availability and Changes

We work to keep our charging stations and website available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may perform maintenance, relocate or decommission stations, change pricing for future sessions, modify features, or suspend access where reasonably necessary for safety, security, maintenance, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

12. Intellectual Property

The Energy Hunters name, logo, website, text, graphics, images, designs, and other materials are owned by Energy Hunters Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Book content and excerpts belong to their respective rights holders.

You may view and print website content for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially use our materials without our prior written permission.

13. Website Information

Content on our website, including FAQs, charging-speed and range estimates, connector compatibility notes, and industry commentary, is provided for general informational purposes. It is not engineering, financial, legal, or professional advice. Always confirm compatibility and site-specific details before relying on them.

14. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Energy Hunters does not guarantee charging availability at any particular time or place, compatibility with every vehicle or adapter, or operation free from faults or interruptions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Energy Hunters will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from or related to the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a charging session or payment will not exceed the amount you paid for that session.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.

15. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the law of your place of residence are not affected.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our Services, business, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Changes apply from that date. Charging sessions and transactions completed earlier remain subject to the Terms in effect at that time.
